The doctors and staff at Westgate Surgery aim to provide the best possible standard of care. We have an arrangement with Leeds Primary Care Trust to deliver Personal Medical Services under the National Health Service.

News

We started seeing patients in the new surgery premises on Monday 18th August 2008. There is still work to do, both inside and outside and this will be completed as soon as possible. Please bear with us while this work is done and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Please use the new entrance, car parking spaces are available in the new and old car parks.

The postal address of the new surgery remains the same but access is between the Adams Croft flats and SAS Autoparts Ltd on Westgate.

Opening Times

The surgery is open Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 6.00pm with appointments between 8.30am & 11.00am, 1.30pm & 6.00pm except Bank Holidays. We extended our hours of opening in June 2008 and early appointments between 7.00am-8.00am are available on certain days, please ring the surgery for more information.

How to register with the practice

You can register with the practice if you live within our practice boundaries. You will need to complete a registration form available at reception. New patients are offered an appointment with the practice nurse to ensure we have up-to-date information about your health until your records are received from your previous GP. If you are a carer or there is a carer in your household please inform the receptionist.

Disabled Facilities

Wheelchair ramp and ground level consulting are available. We have a wheelchair on the premises. An Induction Loop is fitted for the hard of hearing.
