The doctors and staff at Westgate Surgery aim to provide the best possible standard of care. We have an arrangement with Leeds Primary Care Trust to deliver Personal Medical Services under the National Health Service.

Thank you to everyone who completed our recent survey of patient's views.

We established a patient reference group in 2011 and the results of the recent patient survey will be discussed with the group and published in the surgery and on this website in early 2012. If you are interested in joining the group please see details next time you are in the surgery.

On 1st May 2011 we welcomed Dr Alison Smith as she joined Dr Simon Robinson and Dr Oliver Sykes as a partner here at Westgate Surgery.

Opening Times

The surgery is open Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 6.00pm with appointments between 8.30am & 11.00am, 1.30pm & 6.00pm except Bank Holidays. Early appointments between 7.00am-8.00am are available on certain days, please ring the surgery for more information.

How to register with the practice

You can register with the practice if you live within our practice boundaries. You will need to complete a registration form available at reception. New patients are offered an appointment with the practice nurse to ensure we have up-to-date information about your health until your records are received from your previous GP. If you are a carer or there is a carer in your household please inform the receptionist.

Disabled Facilities

Wheelchair ramp and ground level consulting are available. We have a wheelchair on the premises. An Induction Loop is fitted for the hard of hearing.
