Some shorter appointments are reserved for urgent matters so that people can be seen on the same day if they feel this is important. Please use these appointments thoughtfully. Appointments with the doctor of your choice or at the time of your choice may take longer. Our routine appointments are bookable up to 4 weeks ahead. When booking appointments with the practice nurse please be prepared to tell the receptionist what the appointment is for so adequate time can be allocated. If you cannot keep an appointment please let us know as soon as possible. A selection of GP appointments are bookable via this website, please collect an on-line registration form and pin number from reception and click on the 'book appointment on-line' button. Telephone ConsultationsWe have telephone consultations in each surgery. These are ideal if you are unsure if you need to be seen, to discuss test results, to follow-up from a previous consultation or if you are reasonably confident that your problem will not require us to examine you. Home VisitsIf you wish a doctor to visit you at home, please try to ring between 8.00am and 10.00am, though clearly emergencies can happen at any time. If you think the problem is urgent tell the receptionist this. A doctor may ring you back with advice before making a decision on the visit.
